this is great too

46 more hours :-S How is it already December X_X

i literally can’t concentrate on anything else :-??

It’s like 00:20 right now, I can’t sleep. It’s killing me.

I keep shaking because I know in my gut I have been rejected…this is so unhealthy…

Cornell never contacted me or my conselor. They never send me anything except self service account and decision notification. So they probably rejected me!! Did this happened to you guys ??

Anyone else feeling like they’re gonna get deferred?

Me!! Maybe a rejection

I feel like I’m going to get deferred…

@yliuxin Do accepted applicants (or their counselors) usually get contacted? I didn’t know that was a thing

I think so. However, they never contacted me for interview !!!

NO! Nobody gets contacted <-im not sure

They usually do not contact you unless there is a problem with your application, if they want elaboration on something or if your school contacts them first. So no contact is a good thing!!! @yliuxin

(This is based off my experience of them contacting my school thanking them for sending more midterm grades last minute)

As a mom who’s son has applied ED to Cornell, there is no reason to be embarrassed if you do not get accepted ED to Cornell. All of you on this thread have your OWN journey with the college experience. If you do not get accepted, this is part of your journey.I have been reading all of your posts, all of YOU are going to be successful in whatever University you attend. I wish everyone on this thread the best. It has been great to read the posts and see the support all of you have given one another, as a social worker this has been nice to see.

@yliuxin are you sure your application was complete/successfully sent?

That’s all I got too… I got an email from someone who lives in my area for an informational interview, but those are just made based on whether or not there is someone available in your area. Someone from my school applied to engineering and Cornell requested first quarter grades, but he got the email just a day after he sent in the application, so I don’t think that was based on rejection/ acceptance… unless they reviewed his app that fast but I dont think so

Yes

then you’re good to go  don’t stress over it too much. we have less than 2 days left. as long as everything was submitted. there also probably weren’t alumni in your area available. good luck! @yliuxin

@KMC8158 Thank you so much for your supportive words! Best of luck to your son as well

I just wanna go through the last 2 days in peace! No more emails from Cornell please! No more grade requests! No more drama!
