@ComputerEngineer I am applying for CoE and the things that I did that related to engineering were 1. A rec letter from my engineering teacher 2. Pres of engineering club 3. Robotics club at school/ mentor of Robotics Club for kids 4. Dual enrollment to intro to engineering course 5. Both essays related to growing up with engineering 6. CAD club mentor for kids 7. Early completion of all engineering courses at my school

@JustaEngineer Those are pretty good! These are mine…1. Recommendation from Engineering Alumni that my family is good friends with 2. Founder and President of Science Club ( involves some engineering aspects) 3. Member of Engineering Club ( there are no officer positions weirdly) 4. Started my own business as a Computer/Technology Technician 5. I am in an Engineering independent study where we are building new engineering designs that we will the compete with at MIT 6. Built my own computer 7. Essays on engineering aswell
@ComputerEngineer business and MIT aspects are very interesting, well done! My school barely promotes engineering so I founded my engineering club this year and complete projects around the school and stuff. Is your engineering club popular at your school and what do you guys mainly do?
A hopeful Columbia applicant here! I know you guys find out an hour before we do, and seeing that you’re only about 17 hours away from finding out what fate has in store for you, you’re probably a little more stressed than we are back on the Columbia thread. Keep in mind, however, how hard you have worked uptil now and that no one single rejection or deferral letter can undermine that. You are capable of great things regardless of whether you get in or not. You will still be the earth-shatteringly amazing person you are right now. And of course I wish you GODSPEED! You got this!
