@RSalvatierra did you ED or RD cornell??
@JTheGreat58 for the next four days i will try to do something productive but im pretty much sure I will end up spending all my time staring at this post , so what productive things i will try to do dont matter at all
ive been immersing myself homework and an adult coloring book. It may sound really dumb but its actually very good to take your mind off things especially when you listen to music while doing it.
Nice
I applied to ILR ED. @kolakoala How about you?
For common app I talked about my obsession and love for the restaurant Chipotle and how I loved it so much that I got in trouble for it lmao. I applied SHA so my supplemental was about my experience working various hospitality based jobs and that the money I received from the jobs were nothing compared to the knowledge and experience that I’ve gained from them. @JTheGreat58
Time for me to get a profile pic so people can spot me quick in this long post of panicing people. Ha! b-(
As long as no one put in their essay “And this is why I want to attend Duke” you should all be fine :)) I remember at the info session they said that kids do that all the time and it is a major mistake that you do not want to make.
@polyglot05 114 , Reading 28/30 Listening 30/30 Speaking 27/30 writing 29/30
Chipotle is life. :-h @SquadGoals
@Rahulbarcafan hey that’s such a great score! I got 111
Yaaasss exactly. This is why I had to use it for my common app essay lol @RSalvatierra
Has anybody here gotten a likely letter? Just heard about what they were… kind of freaking out…
@JTheGreat58 it sounds like you did a lot of research, which is good cause everything I’ve read says they love to see research into their programs! good luck!
I thought likely letters were for recruited atheletes
When do you think we’ll be receiving the emails notifying us about decisions? Also, will most of you be home by the time results come out, or will you be opening them with friends at school?
@seniorlife555 most are, some aren’t
@Homsar oh…that’s interesting.
@JTheGreat58 I’m definitely going to open it at home with my family only haha
Likely letters are generally sent to encourage athletes to put other options a side. Also, although not very common , likely letters are sent to EXTREMELY strong candidates to let him/her know that an acceptance is pending. @Homsar
What is the point of likely letters?
