financial aid is completely separate from admissions chances. We had multiple meltdowns during ED about this lol. Don’t get me scared
That’s true. Admissions is blind to financial need.
Today on my To Do list it shows all of the forms, FAFSA and the IDOC stuff. It still doesn’t show up on the college board site, but I uploaded everything that I had. It says ‘initiated,’ so hopefully that means it will be linked up to the IDOC stuff. There is something it says has to be signed in ink. Has anyone seen that? I didn’t see it on the college board site, but I’ll be going back to look for it later today.
I believe there is a cover page that you need to sign and your child may need to sign.
@CAMidwestMom In your IDOC document page, click the get forms link on the top right. The Cornell cover page is there.
Awesome, thank you!! @Ngzk07 !
Okay Cornell is on my IDOC list now. The deadline date is missing but whatever, time to upload my fin aid cert!
@Ngzk07 How was the ACT for you.
@DAVE437 I’ll PM you so the thread doesn’t get derailed.
@Krishna98 are you an international applicant?
@XCjunior2016 - are you an international applicant? Also which college at cornell?
@pk2608 I’m a domestic applicant. Engineering
Guys, when I upload my parents’ tax return on IDOC, how many pages of the tax return do I have to upload? How many pages did you guys upload or mail? I just want to make sure cuz I felt like I have too many pages… And what do I do If I didn’t file one for myself?
@HelloEveryone27 There is a link to click on if you don’t have the form or expect to.
@CAMidwestMom after I did that, nothing seems to change…
There was two forms we wouldn’t be filing and I clicked on those links. Nothing has changed but I’m assuming it takes time for processing. The docs I uploaded haven’t been processed either. They are just sitting there.
@CAMidwestMom how many pages did you upload for ur parents’ tax return?
I am the parent. It was a lot. I uploaded it directly from our tax prep software. It’s probably 6-10 pages.
You have to upload the entire return plus all schedules and w2s and 1099s
I wish the tax preparers had a PDF file for my mothers tax return. I should probably just make a huge PDF file myself after I finish scanning.
@Ngzk07 Most of the tax software does let you print it to a PDF.you have to download a free PDF printer
