@thaliacat123 majority of SHA and ILR acceptances are mailed out late feb/early march. but not all acceptances, the rest of acceptances/gts/rejections are released at the end of March along with the other schools
What are SHA and ILR? Have RD folks been getting decisions?
SHA is the School of Hotel Administration and ILR is the School of Industrial and Labor Relations
When do likely letters go out? And do people who applied to CALS get one?
I had the same question. Are likely letters only for specific colleges?
I wish they would spell it all out somewhere. This part of the process is very frustrating. Anxiety is high and a lot of it could be alleviated if we just knew, yes, you could hear on this date, or no, all CALS decisions go out at one time on this date/week.
Since when do SHA decisions come back in late February? I thought a previous post said March 4-14
@redbluegreen19 “Late February” is written in the Ivy Agreement. But looking at past CC threads most have heard the decision between the time period you wrote; basically the first two weeks in March.
@redbluegreen19 yeah in the ivy league agreement it says late feburary, but over the past 5 years it has always been the first week of march that they are mailed out
So what is the Ivy agreement referring to? RD decisions? or deferred Earlies?
Those deferred get everything at the same time as those doing RD.
At least that’s how I’ve seen it work.
Most of the regular applications have been gone through already while deferred application will be looked at either now or soon due to the fact that deffered apps had til February 15 to submit all their supplemental work. SHA and ILR should be coming out soon probably in two weeks while all the others come out on March 31
Anyone applying for financial aid… what does your FinAid To Do list look like? Were you asked through IDOC to provide Financial Aid application Certification? Also, on the list…along w/ IDOC - ordered… do you have 4 other items with status “initiated”… not sure what initiated means and since it’s on the to do list… I’m curious… Thanks!
We had a bunch that were initiated, but once our IDOC stuff was processed, they all dropped off except one. I think i figured out why and uploaded something to hopefully take care of that. Don’t you wish we just knew if this was all in vain or not? This is the last piece of the puzzle for us and I’m getting pretty antsy for him to know so we will all be able to move on from this part of the process. And yes, that certification was on our IDOC. I had to print it out, fill it out and then scan and upload it.
Does anyone know when CALS decisions are released? It appears to be late March but I couldn’t find it explicitly anywhere.
When I e-mailed the office if they have received my CSS (I’m international) they said yes and that is all they need for now. I asked them for the document from ICOC and they told me not to send anything else now
@smothermother Everything but IDOC on my Fin Aid To-Do List has the initiated status. I didn’t send in my IDOC yet because of tax filing slip ups, but I’m assuming it’ll go away once the documents are received.
I applied to CLAS. I saw Cornell’s FinAid Application in my Idoc in early Feb. I printed, signed, scanned and uploaded (sigh!) it back along with other stuffs. Then I got an email from the alumni interviewer to schedule an interview. I replied and I never heard from her again --"
@CAMidwestMom agreed! so much to do with no answers. Is there anyone who does NOT have INITIATED status appearing on to do list?? Wondering what that means relating to the process…
According to the rep I emailed with, you first have to send the CSS to Cornell and that triggers the ‘initiate’ for IDOC. So many hoops…
