Cornell Class of 2020 Regular Decision Discussion Thread

Hey hey hey - no fighting. This is impractical. We’re potential Ivy-goers - just watch Batman v Superman or something

This thread blows up my notifs and it’s just about an email… Some of you are reading into this a bit too much. It’s just a general thing lol. Don’t stress yourselves out. It’ll all be over in two days.

I completely agree with @CCSenioritis there is no need for stupid speculation–we will find out our decision in 2 days, so everybody just calm down.

@litlhoward2468 thanks for info, but are the acceptances all people who have received likely letters?

@lolog123 did you know that nobody has ever calmed down by being told to calm down?

@jaxson no I mean there are new acceptances not including the people who received an LL. besides the fact that an admissions officer told me this, think about it. about 205 students get accepted to SHA each year. 30% get accepted ED so there are around 140-145 spots for RD. and while CC is no real representation of the amount of students who actually applied…there have been only 3 acceptances on CC

Literally in every Ivy thread everyone freaks out whenever an email is sent out, and they normally mean nothing. CC can get real annoying sometimes.

@Ksty1098 preach

Cornell: *Sends decision email -“Congratulations, you’ve been accepted”
College Confidential User: OMG IS THIS A SIGN?!??!?!

@CCSenioritis omg I’ve actually laugh so hard that I split all the tea on my pants

I have been waitlisted for thr MPS program. Does anyone think there is even thinnest of chance to get a positive reply coz i have heard is noone is admitted from the waitlist :expressionless: #disheartened #heartbroken
Life would have been simpler if they would have kept it like a toggle #accept or #reject

This happened on the Berkeley thread it was insane.

@cuhopeful16 UCLA was even worse lol

Sorry, wrong thread! hehe

Ahh…everyone on the Ivy threads is starting to freak out over the smallest things. Lol.

Is Cornell your first choice guys? For me yes!

Cornell is my first choice.

I honestly didn’t know much at all about Cornell before applying, but after getting my Diversity Letter I did tons of research into the school and it’s definitely in my top two right now. The other is UCLA for me, I’m stuck between them

Cornell or gap year

How much I want to go to Cornell: I had a Cornell sweatshirt for when I was born. Planning since day 1.
