@PurpleMusic sorry my phone spell check messed me up. I meant to say received your instead of recieve dugout
Has anyone noticed that the waitlist info web page doesn’t work anymore. I was trying to find an email address but it said access denied?
If the patterns of the wait list are consistent some decisions may come by the end of this week, correct?
Correct
has anybody heard any decision yet?
@redbluegreen19 what you mean by pattern of wait list?
Does anyone know which schools are more likely to use the waitlist this year? (I applied to CAS for Psych and cognitive science)
@FellingLucky by that I mean if looking at years past you can see the 2nd weekend in May some notifications are made. I believe last year they started may 12th
Cas will definitely be taking at least 30 people off the waitlist for spring 2017. The question is if anyone will be offered admission to enter in the fall @margottenenbaum1
@WK6897 Thanks! I’ll stay slightly more hopeful for spring 2017, then, since I stated on my application and waitlist reply that I’m willing to start in the spring (committed to Vassar in the meantime, but we’ll see…)!
@WK6897 How do you know CAS will take at least 30 off the wiliest for Spring? What is the expectation for those chosen then? Should they withdraw from their current college, or just take a semester off?
@northstarfx there’s an faq that said they take 30 off the waitlist for cas if they indicate that they are interested in spring admissions. You can either do a semester at another college so you can graduate in May with the class of 2020 or you can take a semester off and graduate in January 2021
@WK6897 Do you know about the spring admission of CALS?
@chingchingli I think they’ve already offered the 30 spots for spring admission for CALS on Ivy Day, but most likely people will be taken off the waitlist for that because I doubt all of the people offered spring decided to accept the offer
@WK6897 Thank you a lot!
Anyone else receive an email from CALS?
Heard that the class (College of Engineering) has been over enrolled and they will not take anyone of the waitlist
@dlfarthing no. Was it good news?
@FellingLucky how did you hear about that? Only for engineering or all schools?
Where are you getting that info
