Also does your midsemester grade have to be above the requirements? Or just the final semester grades? Idt it would be fair to judge mid-semester lol

Guys!! What do you think will happen if I wasn’t able to do some of the required courses? But I have a good GPA and midterm report?
The last time I checked, someone was in a worse position than that and they still accepted him.
This is my situation: I was unable to do the lab requirement for humec nor psychology course. I’m planning to take them this summer though. To make up for it, I took 2 recommended courses in the form they provided. Would I be okay? I need feedback please I’m stressing about this lol

@Pugslife yes, but they haven’t responded. I’m also planning to call them this week. But do you think they would let me take the ones I wasn’t able to take this summer? Or will they not admit me because of this?
@idekidc You mentioned your midterm report and GPA are relatively good for acceptance, they may take you with a contingency (basically take the lab over the summer, etc.) Cornell saw potential in you to give you a GT so as long as you explained your situation-though, it is a requirement to take specific courses. By chance have you looked through past threads of GT’s with a similar situation?
@Pugslife i hope so!! I mean, I did do a Biology college course through dual enrollment my junior year of high school. Problem is, it didn’t have a lab, although it should count as an intro bio course (BIOG 1140) at cornell. And I was looking through the past threads, but I haven’t found anyone with the same situation as me.

@idekidc SAME!!! HumEc here. I took bio and chem but neither of them fulfill the lab requirement. I’m debating if I should tell cornell or see how it goes…

Btw I called Cornell today regarding our stuff not being checked off. She said that Cornell isn’t even done with freshmen apps yet, so it’ll take 14~22 days (very specific) for our stuff to be processed and updated.
