Hey guys, I was just accepted to Cornell University’s Class of 2024 under Early Decision, but I’ve been meaning to take a gap year since junior year of high school regardless of what college I ended up attending. With that being said, are there any admitted Cornellian students out there who are also thinking of taking a year off? Or are there current Cornell students/alumni out there who took a gap year and could tell me their experiences and some tips and advice? It’s something that I’m a bit anxious about (especially in how it will affect my financial aid package and so forth), but at the same time, I definitely know that it’s the right thing for me. If this resonates with anyone out there, I would love to hear your insights and stories!
