Cornell CoE Class of 2018 ED Chances?

<p>Hey there! This is my first post on CC, and I was wondering if any of you could shed some light on my situation and maybe give me some hope(?) haha. Anyways, Cornell CoE is my dream college, and I plan on applying early decision there in the fall of 2013. Please excuse my lack of AP scores, job experience, community service hours, etc, because I'm only a junior. Thanks for all the help!</p>

<p>Your academics are excellent, and the EC’s are probably fine- the Physical Science Journal thing will set you apart. For Cornell, the application essay is crucial, so make sure you work on that this summer. Also, the key thing for getting into Cornell is to convince them that you belong at the school you applied for- play the interest in science and talent for problem solving (Robotics team experience) for all its worth if you want College of Engineering.</p>

<p>You should be fine- an ivy is a reach for probably everyone, but for you it is definitely achievable!</p>
