A few on this board have received their Cornell College of Arts and Sciences decision and, from what I've seen, both (or three?) have been acceptances. They submitted their applications in early March, from what I gather.

My concern is that I submitted my application in mid-February, and still haven't yet heard anything. Should this be cause for concern? If the admissions are "rolling", does this mean that they've already examined my application and possibly put me in a mass-rejection pile?

You know, maybe (because the faculty evaluates the applications, don't they?) different departments will evaluate their applicants at different times. Larger majors (such as my beloved English) might also have more applications to process .. hmm ! I wonder how it works :P

hmm. I applied as a classics major, I can't image they have too many of those.

I'm pretty sure I'm not going even if I get in b/c I got in to a school I want to go to more so I'm not super stressed but I am still realllly curious as to whether or not I could get in.

What is the average GPA that applies to Cornell? Also, do they take all previous transferable credit or only at the current institution? If someone wished to report only the ones at their current institution can they choose to omit their previous instutional grades?

All schools take whatever credits you've taken, even the ones from H.S (as long as they're transferable)

And as for your final question: that's unlawful. I hope you don't plan on doing that... if they find out, they will kick you out/you won't be able to get a statement of good standing to transfer to a different school.
