Does Cornell send you a coursebook? Or do you have to order one? And if so, are they sent out to everyone after RD decisions are sent or should ED people have received them already?

oh.. I also want to know that. I feel like all colleges with ED do not care about people who got in ED while colleges having EA plan continually send stuffs to their EA students.

bump. (extra text to post this message blah blah)

Well, Cornell sent me a course book back in October, but I assuming that's because I sent them one of my national merit letters. I'm pretty sure that you get one after you're admitted, or at least that's what they did for my friends last year. You can order one, though I hear they're bad with filling orders. A friend of mine ordered one on a visit in july and never received it.

That is soo true. My friend who got into Harvard EA has his own personal counselor calling him every few weeks to make sure he has all the information he could possibly need, and coordinates all his visits to the campus. He gave me one of his Harvard decals for my car (as a joke) since Cornell hasn't even provided us with the obligatory bumper sticker. :(

Its actually much easier to view the coursebook online, seeing as the paper one is encycolpedia (did i spell that wrong?) sized, and you cant search it, or anything like that.

jesus christ do you people not read posts

which was linked from http://cuinfo.cornell.edu

No need to take the Lord's name in vain.

The course book will be on your bed when you get to campus. It is easier just to read the one online though. You shouldn't expect to here much of anything from Cornell untill after RD decisions come out. But don't worry; during the summer they will "blow up" your mailbox.

sweet. Do they really put the book on ur bed? lol, what else do they put in your room? or nething like that

yeah the book is on your bed, a planner (like the kind most ppl get in high school), your ethernet cord for resnet, and a bunch of other random info.

If I may, I think that Cornell should put Mint Chocolate Candy on a pillow and a nice origami towel on my bed.

Thank you,
-Eddie-

Any college that took the time to put chocolate pillow mints out every night would jump to #1 in my book.

I'm with you, Eddie. That would be marvelous! :p
