Cornell Days for the Class of 2013

Hi guys!!! I'm starting this thread to see who's going to Cornell Days and who's planning to do what. I'm totally pumped!!!! I want to see more dorms and hang around ILR and hopefully meet ILR people and band people. Who's with me?! :)

I definitely am considering going :-) the question is whether or not I can afford to fly out... :-(

I'm going if I can get my sister to drive for five hours.

I'm going to cornell days!! I can't wait!!!

I hope I’m going! it’s 5 hours from NYC and also 5 hours from the school I go to which is 2.5 hours from NYC. so my parents would have to drive up here, go there, go back home, then come get me and drive to my school, and go back home. slightly ridiculous. :P

Accepted to ILR!!! I’ll be at DHW - don’t know if that overlaps with Cornell Days though.

what’s DHW?

I got in to ILR RD and am going to Cornell Days on the 9th and 10th. Hope to see you guys there!

Yay for CU days!

I definitely encourage you all to come see Cornell in all its glory. I only decided on Cornell after coming to Cornell days last year. Take advantage of the opportunity and meet as many people as you can!

DHW stands for Diversity Hosting Weekend

I am planning on going the 9th, 10th, or 11th.

well, of course i am going! :)

im going to dhw woot woot im soooooooo excited to be a future cals student whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa whaaaaaaaaaaaa whaaaaaaaaaaa this is me being excited im so excited i didnt go to school today see you guys at dhw im coming from north carolina

Bah, I don’t know what date to choose! I really look forward to seeing some fellow Cornellianites!

yep going to Cornell Days!!! woot!

I’m going (I live two hours away, and it’s during my spring break) for CALS. After being accepted ED and then being thoroughly ignored by Cornell from the end of December up until yesterday (when I got a congratulatory e-mail), it’s nice to know that they remember that I’m going there.

But post-ED neglect aside…I STILL LOVE CORNELL SO MUCH I CAN’T STAND IT. Cornell Days!!! I actually won’t be in the Class of 2013 (I’m deferring for a year to work with Americorps in California and see what the sun looks like before going back to NY for another 4 years), but it’s Cornell Days, come on.

I was reading about the overnight program, and it says that your host isn’t allowed to take you off campus, to frats/sororities, or pretty much do anything else fun. Do people actually follow these rules? I hope not lol

Is there anyone going the 16th-17th weekend?

To karajanhra: I was sooo happy to get that e-mail yesterday too!!! It totally made my day!!!

Did any of you guys order your free t-shirts yet? I thought that was cool!!! I can’t wait to buy a window decal for my car when I get up there!!!

yes I’m in ILR but i’m going the 16-17 weekend :)!

I ordered the free tshirt within 5minutes of finding out, haha.

I know I did too!!! I’m so pumped!!!
