cornell decision email: wrong submitted date?

Man, this is harsh!

Rejected but transfer option!!!

lucky you ^
I feel so...hollow inside I don't know. I knew I wouldn't get in, but it was worth a shot...I can't believe it's just...over. Like there's nothing I can do now but try and transfer from nyu to cornell after a semester. But what if I got rejected again? haha.

I'm sorry for everyone who didn't get in. I guess 2:44 = reject time. three 2:44 kids didn't get in.

2:44er , Rejected.

1:05 transfer option. Can someone please post a reject letter just to make sure this is a GT and not just a nice rejection letter?

There was no correlation. People from all times got rejected.

Yeah it seems that there was no correlation, 12:26'rs still rule though :P

LOL Waitlisted by Cornell... accepted by UPenn!!!!

I applied to ILR primary and then CALS for Communication as alternate. Does only ILR do the GT option?

here's a reject letter:

Dear Reject,
Thank you for your application to Cornell University. We regret to have to tell you that we are unable to offer you admission to Cornell.

We understand that this is not the decision you were hoping to receive from Cornell. Given our very large and competitive applicant pool, it is not possible to offer admission to all candidates who would benefit from a Cornell education.

We wish you the best as you pursue your collegiate studies.

Sincerely,

Jason Locke
Director
Undergraduate Admissions Office
Cornell University

It is such a crappy reject letter, such a heartless, cold, rejection.

2:04'ers... unite?

i'm not checking yet... not ready.....
any of my 2:04 peeps out there have news to share?

That's weird molly , mine was a little different.

Dear Reject,
Thank you for your application to Cornell University. We regret to have to tell you that you are just too sexy for us to even begin to wrap our minds around it. Such sexiness is hazardous to our students , not to mention it generally lowers the confidence of all around it. In conclusion , bom-chika-wow-wow!

Sincerely,

Jason Locke
Director
Undergraduate Admissions Office
Cornell University

well what did you expect them to say?

Dear princess,
I'm so so so so so so sorry. We can't accept you for Cornell Class of 2012 but don't worry, you're still special in your own way! Never give up reaching for the stars!
Love,
Jason Locke, Dean of admissions
XoXo

but I know how you feel beautiful mind, it's really upsetting. Is anyone else thinking of transferring after a year?

edit
btw stg1490 that made me LOL. thanks for the much needed laugh...haha. Glad to know people out there still have a sense of humor despite the rejection.

Stanford had a real nice rejection letter....But Rice's was so much worse then Cornell. Went along the lines of "Your been denied admissions. Too bad"

LOL stg...

cries rejected....... well the green spartans will have to meet up somewhere in greece then.... :-)

miri -- 204 -- i was rejected. kind of surprised, but every single person who applied from my school was rejected that i know of so... i guess they just hate us this yr.

it's weird so many rejects have posted but not admitted kids.

2:34 rejected
