Just a quick question:

Is there any way to check your admissions decision online on April 1st?

Thanks!

"Check Application Status"

omg, i cant wait till march 31st at 5pm!!! :D:D:D:D

How do you know if it is 3/31 @ 5PM? Any confirmation? I looked at Cornell's website and it is nowhere on there

I got an email from an admissions officer at Cornell University, and she told me that I can find out my admissions decision on March 31st at 5PM.

Was the admission officer replying to anything? cos i didn't receive any email regarding this...

The admissions officer was emailing me because she wanted know if I would like to be considered for the College of Human Ecology. So, I responded back to her, and she told me that the admissions decision would be online at 5PM on March 31st.

Wait...so did you applied to HE right? It not that you applied to another school and the admissions officer was like "Hey, you wanna go to HE instead?" or something
???

kkl230, this is what happened. An admissions officer called me, and she said that from the info that I've given, she and the admissions officers of the College of Arts and Sciences wanted to know whether I would still like to be considered for The College of Arts and Sciences or The College of Human Ecology. She asked me this because I seem to be pre-med, and from my interests mentioned in the short answer essays, she believed that the College of Human Ecology may be the best school at Cornell for my interests. She said that The College of Arts and Sciences is a very broad school, and for someone of my interests, I may be better in a school that specifically focuses on what I plan to do.

Well I already know my Cornell Decision and I did regular decision. I don't understand all the hype. Its just another school. The Suicide rate is just as high as the homocide rate in New York City. I don't condone people's choice in schools just because it is an IVY LEAGUE. Ivy league just means its realllly old. Well ne way good luck to all of you who genuinely wish to go there for their programs. I visited. I wasn't really blown away.

Konye618 - how can you have received your decision already if you applied regular decision?

yeah.... Konye, what are you talking about? explain yourself lol

They called my College Advisor. I called them back and I was told that I was accepted into the biological sciences program. They still have to send me the letter though.

I wish admissions can be giving more considerably to more enthusiastic people who actually wanted to go there.

thats awesome! CONGRATULATIONS

Lmao Cncl. God Is Good.

Enthusiasm doesn't cut it. YOu just have to have that special something....... LMAO

konye618--did cornell ever send you a likely letter?

God is so Good.

I already got my acceptance March 21.

School of Industrial and Labor Relations, its rolling =P

I think Human Ecology and Agriculture/Life Sciences are also rolling.
