Quick question--does anyone really use more than 14 meals a week? I keep thinking maybe I'd grab a muffin or something if I got up early enough to eat breakfast at all. Also, am I the only one a little confused about Big Red Bucks and what they're for? Cornell students, do you use those a lot?

You can use BRBs all around campus. They replace the need for cash. So if you get the 14-meal plan (like I am), you can use your 500 BRBs towards snacks or breakfasts.

I have the same problem, I think I can get by with 10 meals. Just two meals a day during Mon-Fri. On weekends, I'm probably going to hang out with friends and grab a bit else where. If we do get meals, we can use that $500 and buy food. $500 per semester "should" be enough.

But I'm still not sure yet.

Even 14 is too much. And remember if pick the golden bear you lose 100 BRBs. After a while you will get tired of dining hall food and won't want it everyday. Pick something and try it out for the first few weeks. If its too many or not enough you can easily change it before the deadline.
