I guess this means that any female engineers who got their likelys are admitted, and whoever females didn’t get it are rejected?

I got mine! Black female neuroscience major! It’s been an hour of me screaming and jumping around. My hands are still shaking from excitement!

I received an email inviting me to attend the diversity housing and the email stated I was basicallly accepted to Cornell class of 2017 but I applied to ILR

Received my email at 3:45 CST today! Then another specifically from ILR at 5:45 CST! Got my likely letter sometime last week! African American female accepted to ILR!!! Excited
:)

We should all choose the same weekend to go to the diversity thing lol

Omg yas.
We should.

Anyone applied to bioengineering at CALS and got likely?

@college123231, I applied to College of Human Ecology, but I’m a white male, so I did not get the letter. Are you an URM or female?

I got mine too! African American female biology and society major from the College of Ag and Life Sciences :)

@barvoets I am a female but not for engineering. I got this in my email and it didn’t specify that I was admitted or will be admitted, so I dont think this counts as a likely.

Damn. Haven’t heard from someone that wants to major in bioengineering at the college of ag and life science.

@alexissss the SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME waitlisted at uchi then i got my cornell email hahaha

@college123231, ah i see. thanks!

Does anyone know if today is the only day they’re sent out?

Got mine today for Diversity weekend.
And I’m overly excited.
Athletic recruit as well. Anyone on here gonna be on the track team next year?

@martinthrows I will be on the track team!

Congrats to you all! :)

Question specifically for female engineers who got a likely: What do you think made you stand out in the admissions process?

I didn’t expect a likely, but I was hopeful for one. My bare-bones stats are a 1500/1600 SAT (730 CR, 770 M), 96.5% gpa, EC’s include president of county’s FIRST robotics team, VP of Best Buddies, and volunteering at my local animal shelter (there’s much more to this list, but I’m not going to write it out unless you want me to). I’m a white female who applied for mechanical engineering. How do I compare to those of you who were accepted?

Again, congratulations to everyone! You should all be very proud. I hope to join you in celebrating when decisions are formally released.

are these emails only for enginerering/ecology/AAP students?
has anyone who applied to CAS gotten one?

@martinthrows I am also a track recruit! lol im extremely excited too

@Kairi21, I got a likely today for Diversity Hosting and I have applied to CAS, yes.
