@sai867 did you receive the Diversity Hosting email, dated 3/15?
@17yeargap : No … I am sure this must be some thing else, I don’t think I am that lucky enough!!! In this process of college applications , at the end I am sure I will be wearing the tassel that deserves me the most !!!.
@sai867 “at the end I am sure I will be wearing the tassel that deserves me the most !!!.”
I love this!!! The perfect attitude for this process. You will be exactly where you belong. Best of luck!!!
? thank you !!! I have put in all what it takes …more than my 100 percent!! I cannot let any college define my self worth!! Thankfully have very supportive parents not caught up with name brands as success!! All the best to the rest!!
I just got an email from Cornell today inviting me to the Diversity Hosting! Never received anything in the mail though.
Same @dagalva472! Maybe it was an error and we should have got our emails earlier? Or maybe they hadn’t reviewed our apps yet? I’m kind of confused because the wording in the email makes it obvious it was meant to be sent before Ivy day.
@Hopeful271 I just re-read it and you’re absolutely right, it does sound like it was meant to be sent before Ivy day. Regardless if it was an error or not, I’m still beyond thrilled to be accepted by Cornell and even more thrilled that I was invited. Better late than never
Also, I’d recommend finishing registration tonight and also sending in your payment through priority mail, as the email asks us to make sure to have it in 2 weeks ahead of our scheduled visit.
