I'm looking to ED to Cornell's Dyson AEM major, but I'm not exactly sure about the standards that Cornell holds for applicants. I read that they accept about 10-15% of applicants, which amounts to about 100 students? (which is surprising considering that Dyson is ranked very high internationally for business). I just want a better understanding of where I would stand.
If you're a Dyson student, can you please tell me your stats, EC's, and what you think got you in?? thanks a lot in advance

There’s a website somewhere that shows what the Dyson school considers and how important it is. You can search for it on Google, but I do know that the essay is the most important, which I feel is what got me accepted. By reading your other posts, your credentials are more than fine. Solidify it with the essay. And yes, you’re right, there’s just about 100 per Dyson freshman class.

CUduff, thanks for your post…
do you remember what kind of essay your’s was? for example- Funny, Serious/Motivational, Sad, Unique…Telling me your topic might just help…
