Ok, so I usually don’t like the chance me threads, but I have to admit, I’m sort of caught up in it now that I have submitted my early decision application to Cornell. Everything I have read says 40/60 but I’m hoping it’s better than that. The wait is killing me so I would appreciate some opinions - because I need more stress in my life (LOL). Thanks!

-Seven AP classes last year and this year, the rest honors
ECs:
-10 years as competitive dancer (solo); qualified for and competed in 8 regional championships and 5 national championships
-Varsity women’s golf team 3 years
-President of German Club
-German Honors Society
-National Honors Society
-A number of state and regional awards for German (for some reason I’m strong in this language even though I’m not native)
Volunteering:
-Founder of unique campaign (leadership) - major fundraiser in support of Meals on Wheels
-Volunteer for Meals on Wheels for 4 years - delivering meals to homebound
Work:
-Dance instructor 4 hours per week for ages 4 - 11 (leadership)
-Dance camp counselor for last 4 years (leadership)
-Paid Intern in Information Technology at large famous non-profit organization in New York City last summer
Other:
-Essays were good IMO. I tied some real life health issues with my desire to help other through biomed. I also visited Cornell twice and even spent time touring the facilities with the Assoc Dean of Biomed.
-Cost is not an issue.
There are a handful of other things but I think that’s probably enough.
