Cornell Early Decision chances?

<p>I am considering applying to Cornell Early Decision. What are my chances?
29 on act (planning on retaking 30+)
sat iis 740 on US, 710 on Math 2, 680 on chem
take five ap courses already (language, us, world, psych, chem) (4 on world not yet received others)
planing on taking 6 more during senior year (literature, microeconomics, euro, physics, calc, government)
also took all the honors classes at time that there was no ap given
have a 3.70 unweighted average</p>

<p>extras:
-national honor society
-150 hours of volunteering at local hospital
-50 hours of volunteer work at a local orthopedics office
-shadowed lead hand surgeon and neurosurgeon in area
- three summers of participating in a week-long, summer scholar camp at the University of Rochester
-lead organizer of lacrosse breast cancer game
-lacrosse all of high school (varsity captain junior year)
-all league honorable mention goalie
-Participated on a FCA Lacrosse team for 2 summers
-have scuba diving certification
-level two hockey official
-I am planning on participating in army ROTC wherever i go</p>

<p>And I am a white dude</p>

<p>First – what do you think your chances are, your strengths and weaknesses.</p>

<p>Next – What College at Cornell? What do you Want to Study? Do you have a weighted average or a class rank?</p>

<p>All would be helpful for the folks here to consult our Ouija Boards and come up with chance me guesses for you.</p>

<p>Based on what you’ve posted so far – my guess is that most will say “Low Reach”, but it’s worth your applying if you have a strong essay and strong recommendations.</p>
