<p>Five years ago my son applied early decision to Cornell - and the day after he FINALLY finished that @@##$@ application I made him apply to his safety school ...he said he was worn out but I persisted...anyway...he did get into Cornell BUT the day after he got his acceptance he got into the safety school...he told me that making him apply to that other school so the best thing because if he had not gotten in or deferred, he would have the next day been accepted somewhere and not felt like a total loser...</p>
<p>Please consider applying tomorrow to a school that you know will accept you - then December will really be a great Christmas/Holiday gift...</p>
<p>Hey if my teacher recs aren't showing up on the Cornell website (using the applicantID thing) should I be worried? My teachers have sent them out already, but like only a week ago. Also, I think I may have given them the 2006 version of the Common App teacher rec form... and on the envelopes I put "admissions office" not "Application Processing center, East Hills plaza", but the address is still right</p>
<p>the Cornell website says that as they are into prcessing it may take a while for things to show up on your app as processed...rest assured that this is what admissions does ...admissions...if something is missing they generally will give you a chance to fix it - </p>
<p>ex: my daughter is very independent and so did all her apps herself - forgot to ask for my credit card for the app fees - mid-February while I was out of town - Cornell asked if she was still interested...panic set in - she hadn't paid ANY app fees...a phone call to the admissions offices fixed that...this was much after the Jan 1 app deadline...</p>

<p>I emailed admission cause I tried calling them today, but they're only open mon-fri. I'll definitely post if I get a definite answer from the office.</p>

<p>Mine is still incomplete, even though everything was sent mid-October (still waiting for everything from my GC...transcripts, school report recs). Other items are there though. Not too worried because they said they will contact us if something is missing. They're probably just swamped.</p>
