SAT: 1950

SATII Spanish: (will take in fall)

I have no legacy, and my mother is the only person in my family to have gone to college (2 years at community schools) - do you think that will help? I was also told by a Cornell professor at a leadership conference I went to that being gay is a huge aid in Cornell admissions, but I don’t understand how I’m supposed to mention that in my application.

I suppose it should also be noted that I’m dual enrolling in an Arabic class at Amherst College, and currently have an A+. Also, I speak A2 level Farsi, which I taught myself. Are those things worth mentioning on my application?
