My BIGGEST problem is my gpa:
Total GPA(grades 9-11) : 4.48 rank 24
Weighed GPA just 10-11: 3.92 rank 43

I bombed 10th grade really badly :/

Do I still have a chance? PLEASE help

I don't know about Cornell's ED acceptance rate being 47%, and even if it is, make sure you're applying ED because you like Cornell not because you see a high acceptance rate. How many people are in your grade, 200, 400, 600? I don't know how badly you did in sophmore year, but it must have been along the lines of a very low 3 or high 2. That will hurt you. You have good SATs and amazing SAT II's (you only send in 3) for ED at Cornell. Your EC's are OK but it's survivable. Cornell ED is a reach, mainly due to your sophmore year GPA.

how do u edit ur post? i left out some stuff and class size is 500 thank you for ur response

Represented school for Math Team moved on to next level
Part of the team that won 5th in state for knowledge masters

i got a 3.9 weighed gpa sophmore year 2Cs 4 Bs

9th and 11th total 3 Bs

actually from what i know, cornell only requires 2 sat iis

anynone else have an idea of my chances? thanks

yay its a decathlete. competition must be intense especially from like those schools i hear that score 50000+... your stats are like a friend of mine who got into an engineering school but he has a higher gpa and was ranked in the top 50 out of like 4k students in an international math competition.. so maybe you have a chance. he also applied ED.

I don't know dude, "It's hard out here for a Pimp".

But if you're applying ED to Engineering and get that SATII Physics at or near 700+ then you probably have a high chance.

lavender89--Cornell does only require 2 sat2's but if you're an engineering applicant you need math and a science
