Cornell ED Chances

<p>Hey guys. Please let me know of my chances for getting into Cornell's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (Applied Economics and Management major).</p>

<p>Race: Bangladeshi (Asian)</p>

<p>Average: 89.7/100 but my school is very competitive and ranked 69th in the country</p>

<p>ALSO, I started freshman year with an average of around 87 but it's been growing in an upwards trend so as of last time, it was a 94.4.</p>

<p>SAT: 2110 (750 Math; 700 Writing; 660 Critical Reading)
SAT 2s: Physics: 700; Biology: 630</p>

<p>ECs:
Debate Team - 4 years
Model U.N. - 2 years
American history club: Founder, President - 2 years
Part-time employee at Dunkin' Donuts
Piano - 8 years (Recitals, Classes)
YouTube Channel for piano - 1.5 years</p>

<p>Awards:
2nd place documentary for NYS History Day Competition in NYC
Intel competition for Social Science Research</p>

<p>APs:
European History
U.S. History</p>

<p>scores and gpa a little too low. and judging from the information you posted, there’s not much (eg awards, achievements) to make up for the low scores. Cornell is probably a reach.</p>

<p>It could be a reach, but you may have a strong boost from your essays, so hopefully they’re incredible! Are you up for that Ithaca weather though? ;)</p>
