Also, you guys have it easy. Try being 11 hours ahead of EST. The wait is that much longer

@ebiersack International Student here, so IDOC doesn’t apply to me I guess. But I haven’t received a single email requesting additional data; no financial aid additional documents, no passport scans. My to-do-list remains empty to this day. I’m pretty sure I’m looking at a rejection. I already told my family that I got rejected 
@sargamprakash that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re rejected. If anything, it means you’ve submitted everything required. Best of luck for the 8th!
@sargamprakash I am an international student too! Hearing the stats of these people has already made me sad I hope Cornell does not completely discard me based on my terrible 11th grade scores + Fin Aid request haha. All the best.
THE RESULTS ARE COMING OUT ON THURSDAY WHAT?!!?! How’d you guys get to know?? the website doesnt specify the date anywhere (or maybe I didn’t find it), I only saw the thing where it says mid December: ed results and fin aid packages announced. Did you guys get an email or something?
PS. I did get an email from the financial aid office asking for my parents’ tax returns and a copy of my passport.

@holdencaufield007 It is listed on the CAAAN calendar as the 8th, and there may have been other sources.

@holdencaufield007 It was mentioned on the CAAAN timeline, but that’s not really a formal announcement. We’re all waiting for the official word. As for the email, I would really love one from Cornell. But all I get are emails asking for my bank account info so that they can transfer a billion dollars :))
@hleeigh I’m pretty confident I’ve got no chance, I just want to see “Denied” written under my name officially so I can go back to doing nothing with my life X_X
@sargamprakash @holdencaufield007 I am also an internatoinal applicant, but I didn’t receive any emails about tax eturns or anything. I also did not request for financial aid though. Did you guys request financial aid?
@sharkface555 I did apply for FA, don’t know about others though. I think the silence is normal if you haven’t applied for FA.
I’m going to frame and hang my rejection letter on the wall. That should remind me to work harder 8-|
I did, and loads of it. (kinda why I don’t think I’ll get in).
I do think, though, that they would’ve asked you for an affidavit or some other document as proof that you’d be able to cover all four years of tuition on your own. Cornell may have a different system but I’m sure many other universities ask for income documents. Have you submitted any such documents? If not, are you definitely sure you haven’t recieved any email, and your parents haven’t either?
Also, I just checked the self-service website thingy and it says that the database was last updated on the 3rd at 6:47 am (my timezone). So that’s 2 ½ days. I guess they’re finalizing/uploading the decisions now.

@holdencaufield007 when did you get the emails for additional documents required? I applied for FA but never received a single email. Probably rejected already
