@cotopaxi
Yeah makes sense, 2200 sat and 4.1 GPA if that means anything, I also did research in sophmore summer and Junior summer at the NIH/national cancer institute and also got Siemens Semifinalist.
@123kxas With those stats you are a good candidate so you have a chance just like the rest of us. Hopefully your essays show a good connection between your awesome research experience and what you’ll do for Cornell. As everyone has been saying, since we’re all statistically similar, it’s the “fit” that makes the difference. Good luck.
Ok, one more post and I’ll be at 100. I need to get a life!
@cotopaxi No, i was just trying to lighten up the mood in this thread.
lol my horoscope says that I will have good news at the end of the week, lets hope that Is true lmao
@cotopaxi didn’t you say you worked at JHU, I think that qualifies as a top uni
Well this is going to be a long wait …
Dying of anxiety tbh
@raven7363 I applied HumEc!
Sooooooo nervous!
HumEc here too!
@yunning whats your area of study?
i love Cornell and applied ED. but who else is worried about the stress level there and the depression/suicide rates.
@shebelongsinny Nutritional Science, you?
@yunning hey I applied nutritional science too! but in cals
fashion design and management @yunning
@doorla the suicide stuff is mostly myth, it doesn’t have that high of a rate. The stress… that’s a whole other story but I’ve heard its manageable.
The suspense is killing me… I have almost no hw and nothing to keep me busy. Regardless of the outcome, I just want to know!!!
@hleeigh That’s cool! I spent a long time deciding which college to choose. The courses offered for the major are the same tho
@Shrilkshire I wish I had worked at JH. I just said I shadowed a professor. Meaning I spent about three hours asking a lot of dumb question.
