Cornell ED Class of 2022 Discussion Thread

@Blueberrylover I am an international applicant who has applied for financial aid. My financial aid ‘to do’ list has been empty ever since i received the applicant id from cornell. I guess it should be empty for international students as we are needed to submit only the CSS profile and that to by 1st November.

Just curious, did anyone not apply for financial aid? Any updates on the application portal/to do list for someone not applying for aid?

Did the notification date for ED get pushed back? I saw from another thread it is getting pushed back to 12/11 (originally 12/7)

Where did you learn about that

@RobbyH just look a few pages back on this thread. The alumni interviewers got an email saying the decision date was pushed back to the 11th.

@datboi17 So is it official?

@LINA1203 Checked the updated caaan doc. It shows 11th December

Hey I am an international applicant and my financial aid to-do list is still very empty. Werent they supposed to let us know about the reqd docs by mid nov??

@essayhater I checked with the office of admissions, they said that “The financial aid-to-do list is not active for international students so you will not see anything listed there.” They will contact us later for all required documents

@TST2022 I didn’t apply for financial aid and nothing shows on my portal besides the application checklist. I don’t think there’s anything else for us to do.

That’s what I figured but just wanted to check

Looks like the official date is Dec. 11

There is only one thing left in my financial to do list, and instead of “Initiated” it says “Second Notification”
I have no idea what this means, and I didn’t get an email from them about a notification.
Anyone know what’s happening or if this is happening to them?

Hi, I’m new to this and I applied to Cornell ED for CS. If I submitted my financial aid forms in early October but they’re still initiated, should I be worried and call? I know that people’s financial aid to-do list has been recently updated but I hope mine gets updated too.

Hello did anybody else in their financial aid to do list get something that says isir ssdam and that they need to confirm their citizenship status?

Any CAS applicants here? I haven’t seen many but I know you are out there lol

There is a ton a ton of CAS applicants just on this thread that have said so and in the Cornell University forum including me. I think many of them have made it very clear.

Chill

I stated “many” as in personally I’ve seen more applicants to other schools. So chill.

I might be dumb but what is CAS
