Cornell ED Class of 2022 Discussion Thread

I am the mother of a current freshman at CAS. I feel the pain of those who got either deferred or rejected. We were in the same boat on 12/15/16 when my son got deferred by Yale. Scores and extra-curricular accomplishments were phenomenal - ACT 36, SAT 1600, 800s in chem, math and bio, top 1 percentile of class(4.7 GPA), perfect AP score, National merit winner, excellent essays etc. But Asian…
After 3 months of agony, in March, he got into Cornell as a Tanner Dean scholar via a likely letter.
Keep your hopes up!
Do not get discouraged if you did not receive the outcome you were looking for.
You will eventually get into a college where you will fit well.
Congratulations to those who got in and good luck to the rest of you while you await your decisions in spring!

Hey @GabrielMacht ,I’m a prospective international Dyson applicant. Mind sharing your stats?

Did the decision come out exactly at 7 or did it come out a little bit earlier?

Exactly 7:00

Congrats to everyone that got accepted!!

I applied to Cornell for Aerospace RD. I was just wondering if there was an RD 2022 thread. If so, please link it to me ((((:

Maybe someone can help me!!! I just realized I never completed my Financial Aid IDOC stuff, but is says the deadline was November 21st. Do you think I can still turn them in an receive a decent amount of aid?

@whenderson272 I think that you can still turn it in, because my list wasn’t generated until a week after the deadline. But to make sure, you can email the financial aid office and ask them.

lmao a girl I went to elementary school with got accepted E.D…and her parents gave her 10 thousand dollars in cash as a prize. life is cruel sometimes -__-
