I applied ED to ILR and didn’t get an alumni interview. Does that mean anything or is it random? I’ve read both answers online. I’m just nervous because I know that a few kids from my school have gotten interviews
Oops just read earlier posts on this thread never mind
@MyGPAIsAnL we had to submit our actual tax returns and supporting documents, 1099s and some other items to idoc. It just depends what they ask for. It can be different for everyone.
If you got selected for federal verification, you have to prove that your numbers on Fafsa are accurate. About 30% of people get selected each year. Make sure any errors or inaccuracies on your original Fafsa are now corrected.
I called and they said mid-December? What did you ask that made them say December 10th? Is that 100% the day the decisions are releasing? thanks so much
All - last year admissions was a set date of December 7, then they had some power outages, and had to change it to December 11, so really, anything can happen. Everyone will get an email about 3 days beforehand with the notification of the time and date and link for when they can check. It’s soon either way.
Also @soulsearching129 I also though Human Ec seemed popular this year, but it could just be the people on this thread, who really knows, until Cornell posts their demographics?
I’ve seen people with perfect stats not get in, and people with imperfect stats get in, so they look at everything. So no one is a sure thing!
Last year, applicants were given the date of Dec. 7 or 8, then it got changed to Dec. 11, or something like that, so while some Admissions staff may be telling people one date (or not, depending on who you get), we will not know 100% until we get the actual email from Admissions telling us the date. The CALS admissions person I got yesterday afternoon said she couldn’t confirm an exact date of decision release, to wait until the official ED date email is sent, and 1st quarter grades are not required. I did not send mine because they’re not all ready and GC said not to send them incomplete. He said the Q1 grades of last year’s ED applicant to CALS from my HS were not sent either and it didn’t seem to impact anything because that person was accepted without the 1stQ grades - again, this was CALS. I hope that puts those who were worried at ease.
is it too late to upload supplemental information and other stuff onto the application portal? I know it said recommended by November 15 but is it still too late?
