Anyone know how much emphasis Cornell puts on different parts of the application? Like GPA vs. test scores vs. ECs vs. essays?

I’m reading the 2022 ED thread, there was a lot more activity than this year’s 2023 thread… they were also in the same panic mode (the weekend before their decision notification) as we are.

Wait… Does that applicant portal say stuff like submit enrollment deposit and memorize your Cornell ID?
When I click on submit deposit, it tells me that go to your acceptance letter and follow the instructions. It also says that submit additional documents for international students.
Anyone else getting this?

I agree. But that’s the first thing on that portal for me. It says submit enrollment deposit.

Maybe but it seems a bit odd if they’re going to such lengths to keep decisions a secret until Monday night… but then again if you’re an international applicant they might have sent out the international info in advance. I’m domestic so I can’t really say for sure
I mean we only have like 31 hours left anyways I’m just going to wait and see what happens on Monday
Yeah. I saw last year threads and figured they sent the letters with FedEx.

I’m also an International applicant and my portal looks the same as it did two weeks ago… but I applied for CAS so maybe it does have to do with school/major idek
