I’m in nj so yea there are probably a lot of alumns near me in the nj/ny region
How can we find out if there are alumni living in our area?
No one has contacted me yet. I’m from RI
I just got contacted for an interview so I think they are starting now
Does anyone know what proper attire should be worn? Is a tie recommended?
We are in the midwest and my daughter was contacted for an alumni interview. She applied to COE, however, the person interviewing her did not graduate from COE.
S contacted yesterday for an interview. He is applying to CAS and will speak to a CAS graduate. He has worn a tie to another US college interview because he went straight from school (where dress code requires it), but otherwise wont.
For boys we have heard khaki pants and button down are more than ok.
When do we get the checklist and portal updates? I live in the NJ area and so far no interview emails… applied to CAS
My son applied to the College of Engineering and no interview call yet for him. We are in New England.
Birmingham, UK, got interview for College of Engineering
less than a month left guys!!
I know its futile for your rankings or opinions because there’s nothing more to be done at this point, but maybe it will put an ease to my restlessness…

your thoughts??
Hi Premedguy2205, do you have any hooks such as belonging to an under represented minority. Have you applied for financial aid. Also which State are you from.
Well I applied ED to the College of Engineering at Cornell (hence the username).
I guess it won’t hurt. Here are my stats: http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/2100728-chance-me-for-top-cs-schools.html#latest
Applied mostly because I heard they have good financial aid. This boi is gonna need it
What are your stats? @GigaVoltFLash
I too am applying for Engineering from India
@Jilrani1 I dont have any hooks like legacy or underrepresented minority, but I am an immigrant but I doubt that helps. I have a lot of research and experience under my belt and very good upward progression in Gpa, (my freshman year I had an 88 due to a family death, soph year a 100, junior year a 102), so that should be beneficial. It is just my avg gpa that throws off my application. In my app I had explained just why my gpa was so low freshman year, and it played into the theme of medicine that was evident through my application. Very nervouse because I love cornell and not sure how this is going to turn up.
^also yes I’ve applied for aid haha
Hello all, has anyone seen anything in their to-do list on ether the application status or financial aid pages yet?
Good morning, my daughter’s application status page continues to have that generic “we’ve received your application” “there’s no need to contact the admissions office” message and the financial aid to do list doesn’t display anything.
I am starting to worry…has anybody been able to see the application check list and the financial aid to do list?
