Guys,
Is there any activity on your financial aid to do lists? Mine is still empty- I was told Cornell usually asks for documentation 2/3 days before the results come out.
The portal is empty for us, do they only ask for documentation from applicants that are admitted or from anyone who has applied?
My portal has an additional item asking for “Other Additional Documentation”…
It’s usually a sign that they might accept you. I’m not sure though, guess we’ll only know for sure tomorrow.
All the best (:
Do you know when it was updated? For additional information?
@iloaieg Did you receive an email asking for your tax documents?
I received an email 6 days ago and they were asking for my mother’s W2, but not tax documents for me specifically. @Cornell16
@iloaieg Well, if they asked for it 6 days ago, did you then upload it to idoc? Last week they suddenly asked for my DD w2 and I uploaded it immediately, but they didn’t process it for 3 days and then finally on the 5th it went off our to do list.
@collegeparent789 Cornell is need blind so the financial aid office works independent from the admissions office. They should have no idea who is admitted and who isn’t. If they aren’t asking for anything, you probably submitted sufficient information with your CSS originally or they were able to easily verify everything. I doubt it has anything to do with decisions. I don’t think we will qualify for aid, yet they were still asking for the info from us late last week. So they do their due diligence right up to the end.
@srparent15 Thanks. In the 2022 thread, there was a comment about a correlation between receiving an email from FA and admits.
