<p>@aznlxli I think you still have to talk about what your interests are and why? I’m sort of undecided I have two major interests but I don’t know which I want to list as my major but I am going to talk about both of them. Even if you don’t know what you want to major in, there’s gotta be something you’re passionate about, right?</p>

<p>I am not even close to finishing! I’m applying to HumEc - Policy Analysis and Management, but I’m doing CALS - Biology and Society as an alternate. Two essays to write, plus my commonapp essay needs work. So nervous.</p>

<p>^ You have a decent enough chance, 1430 falls around the 50th percentile for Cornell.</p>

<p>Hey everyone! so i applied ED to HumEc…fingers crossed. I want to go to cornell so badly its not even funny</p>
<p>Sending in my app today or tomorrow. CAS & CALS (Chemistry & Environmental).
No URM for me, or any other special circumstances… Just a well-rounded kid from the NYC suburbs (top rated high school). </p>
<p>My stats are GPA: 90.5, SAT: 1370 (M:700, CR:620), ACT: 31. Lot’s of AP’s (mostly 5’s) and Honors (mostly A’s). Nat. Honor Society, Science Honors, Math Honors, Language Honors. EC’s: Varsity Lacrosse & Field Hocky, Violin, Camp Counselor, Girl Scouts.</p>
<p>I think I need my essays to differentiate myself, and I think they’re really good.</p>

<p>I think that your chances are really good! Maybe a little service would do good to your application too. Your test scores are average for Cornell but don’t forget that it’s a wholistic process!! I’m sure you’ll do great and I wish you the best of luck~from one hopeful cornellian to another!</p>
