Immigrant. Moved here in 6th grade and was immediately put on remedial ESL classes. I made my way to the top and took challenging courses like honors English. I have pretty decent recommendations from 4-5 teachers.</p>

<p>Your chances for Cornell are very good, especially if you’re applying early decision! Also, your hook will definitely help you! Princeton is certainly tougher, but it’s worth a shot. Best of luck! </p>

<p>a bit tough w/o grades listed, but i’d say just based on this, you probably have about a 20-40% at Cornell and maybe a 10-20% chance at Princeton? There incredibly tough schools to get into, reaches for anyone. Best of luck applying!</p>

<p>You do know that you cannot apply to Cornell ED & Princeton SCEA at the same time? If you have managed to do so, you should pull one application immediately.
