well i already applied....so i have no control now...and im not withdrawing...unless i get into cornell :)

Boston University is not a bad campus. It's a city campus, so there are many students are get culture shocked, but for someone who is acquainted with the city it may be a very enjoyable experience.

Would you, by this standard, also say that Columbia or NYU have "horrible campuses"?

Just remember: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

ye, maybe us new yorkers would like it as opposed to a person from North Dakota

good call Bklyn. I love NYC, and I REALLY love Boston. I would certainly not mind going to BU, BC, Northeastern or Harvard for their location/campus styles (though Harvard is obviously much less urban than the others).

For engineering:

Well, I went with Cornell ED, but I'm also applying to Columbia, Brown, Yale, NYU, Vassar, Tufts, GW and BU. I might possibly apply to USC also, because I do believe I've finally convinced my parents that it is possible for me to apply to a school on the West Coast.

Lehigh
Boston University
Rutgers-New Brunswick
The College of New Jersey
Penn, maybe.

wow, this thread was dead for a long time, and its back up again....hey, is GWU a good skool? Like "prestigious" and all? cus im deciding whether to apply there if i dont get into Cornell

GWU has a good name. the thing i def. remembered from that school is there dorm rooms. okay ... "dorm" doesn't do justice, it should be called hotel rooms. the rooms have refrigerators, ac/heat, microwave, and nice bathroom.

GWU?? = George Washington University?

it has a pretty good poli sci program

Biology major.

ED Cornell

alot of people seem to be applying to Brown. I don't get. It seems like the complete opposite to Cornell but there's alot of cross over. (I was smitten with Brown until I visited Cornell, now I'm completely over it)

Princeton - ED
Cornell
William & Mary
University of Virginia
University of Richmond

Because Brown has the next lowest sat range in the ivy league.
