Cornell EE M.Eng. Worth It?

Hello guys,

Cornell accepted me into their EE M.Eng Program. But is it worth it? I’m specifically looking at these 2 issues:

Job prospects after graduation. Are they Good/Bad?

Course Load: Do you think it’s going to be overly difficult taking one additional undergrad course? I’m also planning on taking biology (at the same time) as part of med school pre-reqs. Also: are there any opportunities to take any writing courses as part of the M.Eng. requirements?

My proposed timeline is as follows:
Fall 2009: M.Eng
Fall 2010: Work
Fall 2011: Med School

Am I doing this right? I would happily welcome any guidance, criticism, comments, questions.

Thanks,

This is probably going to be redundant, but just for the heck of it, [Cornell’s site](http://www.ece.cornell.edu/meng/) should help. Also, IMO you should feel free to contact current students or faculty members with your questions. You wouldn’t want to have any unpleasant surprises after you enroll there.
