<p>I'm an international student - in my gap year. Planning for Computer Science at Cornell Engineering. </p>
<p>SAT - 2310
Subject Tests - Taking Math, Phy and Chem in November. </p>
<p>GPA: (percentage - we're not awarded GPA)</p>
<p>9th grade - 81% (class rank - 2 out of 83 students)
10th grade - 78% (#5 out of 84 students)
11th grade - 84%
12th grade - 60% (despite the slip, I was still in the top 10% of my class)</p>
<p>EC's:
Lots at the inter and intra-school level (debates, public speaking, quizzes, essay writing (in English and French), school newsletter editor, captain of my football team,) - we did not have clubs and societies in school, and opportunities for pursuing EC's were few. Very academic oriented school. </p>
<p>As part of my gap year activities, I'm volunteering at our local Red Cross branch, and also pursuing a short computer related course as pre-college preparation.</p>
<p>Recommendations - very positive..</p>
<p>Financial Aid - Required. </p>
<p>And I plan to apply under ED. What are my chances like??</p>
