Cornell Engineering Chances ED. Please take a look!

<p>HELLO Im applying to Cornell Engineering School ED.</p>

<p>Im a Belorussian female
-First generation immigrant (permanent resident)
-Bilingual. English as a second language
-Field: Civil Engineering</p>

<p>GPA: 3.73
Though I have an awful "downward trend" in grades, I took hard classes in later years so I hope its still ok though it doesnt look so good on first glance..</p>

<p>AP's and Honors: 9th: Honors Geometry, Algebra Accelerated
10th:Analysis Accelerated, Honors Chemistry
11th: AP Chemistry, AP US History, AP Calc BC, AP Spanish
12th: AP Macro Econ, AP Statistics, Adv Biology, Honors Physics</p>

<p>Rank: Doesn't rank. (vry good private school)</p>

<p>SAT/ACT Superscore M: 760 R: 690 W: 700 Composite Score: 2150</p>

<p>SAT II scores: Math IIc - taking in November, Chem- 730, Spanish- 630 (OOPS.not sending but I got a 4 on the AP so whatever)</p>

<p>EC's:
Community Service- Environmental Groups (multiple) and New Orleans Alt Spring Break
Science Olympiad Team- got to states
Varsity Swim Team since 9th, Captain since 10th
SAT Teacher at the Princeton Review
Math Tutor</p>

<p>Honors/Awards:
National Merit
AP Scholar with Honors
National Spanish Exam Semifinalist
a bunch from Swimming
a bunch from Science Olympiad
1st at school art show (do a bit on the side)</p>

<p>The science olympiad will look great on your application. Might need to take some more subject tests and score high.</p>

<p>BTW, how are you a Princeton Review SAT teacher when you only scored a 2150? Just asking…</p>

<p>You have pretty good chances I think for Cornell, maybe 50%, it just depends on how lucky you are.</p>
