I should have pretty strong essays and letters of req; I researched a lot about Cornell and my teachers have high opinions of me. Should I emphasize the biracial bit in my essays? Right now I just mention it briefly. Should I explain the difficulty of the computer architecture course at Berkeley? And of course, what are my chances?

Forgot to mention I’m applying ED.

You have a good chance

Agree you have a good chance. No need to talk about your race or the difficulty of your coursework. Your school counselor is supposed to address your course rigor in their rec letter. You dont want to brag. Your essays should show your enthusiasm for Cornell and answer the questions well, including why Cornell specifically is a good fit for you. Mention specific courses or activities you want to be involved in @Cornell. Your stats are impressive although there are no guarantees. Good luck!
PS I hope you have visited the campus.

Thanks everyone, looking forward to results!
