Classes: I am taking 4 APs this year, Calculus AB, Physics 1, Physics 2, and Psychology. Junior year I took Chemistry, Language and Composition, and Statistics. I will also be completing my schools engineering pathway this year.
AP Scores: Chem-5 Lang-5 Statistics-5

Extracurriculars: Top 12% in an national cybersecurity competition, Attended National 4-H Congress and Conference. County Representative to 4-H State Teen Council, President of County 4-H Junior Council, Vice President of school NHS chapter, 2016 Presidential Volunteer Service Award Recipient for 150+ hours that year, Church Youth Group President, Varsity Soccer and Lacrosse

Essay: Hopefully it will be good, but is on how a disease I have has shaped me as a person.

Your ECs and GPA are pretty good. May I ask what is your ethnicity and sex? Your SAT is on the lower side and I would say around a 1500 would be the stats of a regular admit for engineering, as Cornell’s median SAT this year is a 1480 and engineering is slightly more competitive than Cornell as a whole. Right now, I would say about 40-50% chance of getting in.

^ I think thats an overestimation. Your scores are quite average, and definitely on the low end for engineering. None of your ECs really stand out. Its not that you are not qualified, but Cornell Engineering is very competitive. I would be wary of applying ED.
