<p>Osheezie, they are give or take within that range. But remember, they are more interested in your course work (AP Calculus BC, AP Physics, AP Chemistry) than pure SAT scores. High 600s to 800 on the SATIIs in MathII, Physics and maybe chemistry helps you a lot too though. Not much to be gained from a single test to determine if you can make a good engineer.</p>

<p>That's the thing . . . Someone told me that when one applies to Cornell for engineering, the CoE accepts students to the college of engineering and not to specific majors. However, I do believe that the major you choose does play a role (however small) in your chances of admissions.</p>
