Hi there, applying for Mechanical Engineering. I'm really excited by the prospect of attending Cornell, as I'm sure all of you are. Best of luck.

Hotel School is a junior.

CAS - Psychology

Go Cornell!

I love that people are becoming supportive friends on CC....it makes me smile...retardedly.

Trixie, you're on acid. And I'll take you one on one in a short program.

CAS right here. Good luck to everyone!

I'll kick your ass...and wrong thread for a comeback...it was "The Bubbler Theory" where you got owned.

You can't resist this body.

When do yall find out

Haha at stewart...

But yea, us Cornell people seem to be the most chilled. Have you seen Harvard or Princeton admission threads? Those people want BLOOD! Hope we ALL get in!

I think mid-late April (at least for us GTs)

Applying to I.L.R. for junior status.

Foolishly applied to the CAS... I don't think I had the reqs to go to CALS though. GL everyone.

any one apply apply as international student(but take college in US) with aid?

Oh man. That was some quick driving to the post office. Barely made the deadline

^ lol

I did that for financial aid today

Oh no, I missed the deadline to apply =(. They extended it and I still blew it. I sent in my main app just never the engineering supplemental. Oh well, I guess it's just between USC and Miami for me now.

They extended the deadline to March 31st? Will that mean they'll push back the decision letters?

^ I think so

ok I'm not a fall 08 transfer, I was a 08 freshman applicant (currently a high school senior). I'm really disappointed I didn't get into cornell (found out last night) but might - haven't decided yet - might try to transfer after my freshman year at NYU. Can anyone give me any advice, since you guys are all transfers? Like in general, what is the transfer acceptance rate (I know it's probably really low) and what can I do to improve my chances? Just take difficult courses and try and maintain a high gpa?

This is the statistics about external transfer:
