I realized that I sent in the wrong file to the office, but my application has been sent to review for 4 weeks now. Any suggestions?
@Tilltheend email them and explain and attach the correct form. Most likely too late tho
Yeah, already did, thx yo
Adding my acceptance to growing ILR list – Ian called me Thursday, April 27th. Congratulations everyone!!!

@VaishS I would actually be more comfortable not getting the decision on Tuesday. Judging from last year’s thread (which of course, is not a perfect predictor by any means), everyone who got accepted on around the same date got a call on the prior Thursday/Friday while everyone else that got their decision was rejected.
Also, at the same time last year the transfer thread only had like 80 pages while we’re currently at 140 lmao
@Dontskipthemoose and @Steven113 mind sharing your results?
@ILRTransfer3 wait that would only hold true for ILR though right? I’m Cals so I wouldn’t be getting a call either way
Still no PIN for this CAS applicant. Guess we’ll figure out tomorrow.
Oh wait you’re cals, and here I was thinking you were ILR this entire time. Better remove you from the ilr list then.
Is there anyone else on the list that isn’t applying to ilr?
Waitlisted as a senior in high school. Applying as a first year sophomore. If I don’t get in I might actually cry. Do you think my capacity to graduate early at my current school and me putting my expected grad date in 2019 hurts me? I am of course willing to take an extra year at Cornell but I don’t know if I should call and clarify.
@jewishkidaz If our expected graduation date at our current university is 2019, would that be the same at Cornell? OR do we have to take an extra year (class of 2020) as sophomores if we transfer?
@yassgirl We would likely have to take an extra year depending on the number of credits you currently have. I will be at 58 at the end of this semester and I came in with 24 from AP classes. My concern is that the transfer requirements for incoming Juniors is much stricter than those for incoming Sophomores. I hope they take this into account while reviewing applications. What are you applying for? I am CAS Econ
@jewishkidaz Would you say that’s its possible that as an incoming junior myself that I’d be able to spend more than 2 years at Cornell? I actually need the extra year for my career paths…
@jewishkidaz I’m applying CAS as well. In terms of credits, it’s hard to know and how many will transfer. I wonder if they would communicate our standing if we were to be admitted.
@Mastodon97 I truthfully don’t know the answer to your question but from my knowledge of universities in general, you should be able to stay for as long as you would like however, you would likely stop being eligible for aid and be required to find your own housing past a certain time.
Those who received decisions last week or the week before, did you receive email with PIN on Sunday or Monday? I still don’t have my PIN yet so I’m not sure if I’ll have a decision this week. I’m applying for CAS, btw. Application went in for review early April. I did send my mid-term report late, but not sure it delayed anything because my application was already off for review when I sent the report. Maybe they won’t even see it?
@MysteriousDude I’m right there with you. No PIN and the forgot my PIN trick isn’t working either.
My son got his pin on Monday of last week and then got his decision the next day on Tuesday. CAS applicant and was accepted.
@Mastodon97 what are you hoping to accomplish by staying longer
CAS applicant-- still no pin
