@yassgirl Thank you very much!
congrats! out of curiosity what will your concentration be? if you feel comfortable could you post your stats? i applied to AEM and still haven’t heard anything yet… @kp83
CAS applicant. Still no pin.
Rejected by Penn just now and I was like meh, I knew it. but now it begins to hit me… PLEASE CORNELL… LAST STRAWWW
Still no PIN (CAS).
You’re the first I have seen on here!!! Im applying aap also!
My application was sent to review last week, any idea on when I’ll get a decision? I’ve heard stories where people got their decisions two days after it was sent for review. Government major Junior transfer!
So if we still don’t have our PIN are we going to have to wait for next Tuesday at the earliest?
@samantha42 Yes, that appears to be the case. So next Tuesday, and the following Tuesday will probably be the next two waves of admissions. It could possibly go in the late May, but I suspect that the majority of CAS decisions should be out in the next two weeks. We got this!
@yassgirl I am so glad that my parents paid my deposit for Binghamton and are willing to pay the housing fee if I break the contract…if they weren’t willing and I did get into Cornell, I wouldn’t have the money to do so. It’s unfair that Ivy League schools give their decisions after the May 1 date most others require a deposit by. And of course Binghamton wouldn’t postpone it. Ah well.
@samantha42 I’ve heard of people getting an expedited decision for situations like yours (I’ve seen many other people with a similar situation). I also heard that CAS didn’t do them, but other colleges within Cornell did. Did you contact them about it?
@yassgirl I haven’t, though I should have. I did apply to CAS, though. No use in doing so now, as I’ve already paid the deposit and signed the housing contract. To be honest, I’m not too optimistic about being accepted…
@samantha42 I having a good feeling that we should know our decisions in the next two weeks. I’m sure you’re an amazing applicant! I’m hoping for the best outcome for you
@yassgirl You’re sweet
@samantha42 Aw thanks! We got this! :bz
Just to clarify some things, you get your netID after you submit your deposit, you can get your deposit waived but that’s up to the discretion of the financial aid office if you’re income is low enough which they’ll tell you when you get your financial aid letter, and you get your finacial aid package about a week after your acceptance.
Hey guys I am late to this discussion but I am a CALS Information Science applicant! My stuff was checked off kind of late cuz I accidentally sent the high school final report instead of my college report lol. >:D< Tbh not expecting to get in because I have, amongst 3 A+s, a C- on my midterm report (UCLA lower div profs can be quite shabby X( ) and my LoR might be subpar. It’d be hilarious if decisions came out next next Tuesday though cuz that’s my birthday lol. Oh well. Good luck to everyone else!
Actually wait I signed into that transfer eval thing and a letter saying my courses have been evaluated came up. But it also says Dyson in the top right lol when I applied to Information Science and it doesn’t say my major. Also, I can’t click the link to the actual evaluation. This might sound really stupid and may be the case for everyone but I’m just putting my input lol.
@NigelBojangles It’s probably for everyone. I heard CALS applicants who were marked accepted internally might have their major showing up at the top of the letter. just rumors. I applied for CAS so useless whatsoever.
