@genieforuboi I can’t remember exactly, but yes I do remember him saying something about Friday. I think they will be released tomorrow.
How do expedited decisions work? All of my professors are asking me about where I’m going next semester (I’m graduating from a CC) and I’d like to be able to tell them. Also I myself would like to know where I’m going next semester as well, so that my family and I can prepare. And for more practical reasons, I need to know for deposits, summer classes, etc. How do you go about getting an expedited decision, the wait is really starting to become a problem for me that could have some serious effects on my overall college plan.
I just read an article that Cornell plans to enroll 100 veterans(by 2020) and so far they have 24. So if you’re a veteran don’t worry… they are CRAVING for veteran toppings(not that I am one)
Update: I called admissions and the person I spoke with said that my application has been read but a decision has not been reached. What does this mean? Is it good or bad, I’m not really familiar with the application process. I assumed admissions looked at an application once and made a decision right there. I guess it’s good since they didn’t immediately give me a rejection, but I guess it must also mean the they are unsure of me which makes me really nervous.
@doubleS what school did you apply to and for what major?
I applied to CALS, for communication. Sorry, I forgot to mention this in my earlier posts!
@doubleS is that the case with all CALs applicants who haven’t received decisions?
@doctork I’m not sure, I would guess not since I specifically asked about myself. From what I’ve seen on this thread though, there hasn’t been acceptences or rejections for any CALS applicants so maybe you guys are in the same situation? Honestly, this is just so frustrating and nerve-racking, I wish the process would be more transparent and not as drawn out as it is.
this is insane. I wonder when us CALS applicants will hear back. Perhaps next Tuesday?
@stuckonthisearth did you get a transeval update?
Hey, whats the link for that forgot my pin trick? I tried holding off on it but I can’t wait any longer lol.
@doubleS what does your transeval say? Also, it’s https://decision.applyyourself.com/fl_login.aspx?id=cornellu

@doctork There’s been no update to my transeval. Also, I did the pin trick and the system was unable to locate my pin…so that means a decision has not been made on my application, right?
@doubleS I believe so
@doctork Okay cool, thanks. When was your app sent for review, btw?
@doubleS lol first week of April xD
@doctork They lost my college transcript so I had to resend it and my app was sent in late April. Maybe they’ve read your app too since yours has been in review longer.
Any international students got accepted/rejected from Cornell yet?
