Cornell Fall 2017 Transfer

@studboy97 Not yet, but NEU’s deadline is the 20th and I’ll know about Duke before then. I was just commenting on what choice I’d have to make if I don’t hear from Cornell.

@jbinger16 hahaha was just playing “out of my hands” by Jason Mraz while trying really hard to finish up a paper. Yeah man this is definitely very nerve-racking

Have any SHA applicants received their decisions yet? Or it just hasn’t come out at all?

@studboy97 I think that the only SHA applicants that have were GT. I emailed the admissions office for SHA and they did tell me that they started releasing decisions at the times of other schools and will continue until mid-may, but I haven’t heard of any updates from any of the SHA applicants on this page or others I know. UGH They’ve always been the slowest with the decisions, but they told me to check mail and email for updates.

It has been 12 hours since an update. Anyone from CALS get/hear anything or receive a pin?

Nothing still. CALS

@VaishS what a struggle, congrats on penn by the way!!!

CAS, still no pin. I’m giving up on cornell and making a deposit to a school based on the decisions I have by Friday.

@panicattheapp Thank you!!!

Pins usually update on Mondays right guys?

damn if it comes out in the morning, I will be stuck in my calc exam…

@studboy97 Same, calc 2 makes me want to die

If my decision would come out next Tuesday, when will I get my pin?

@packman012 I agree and did the same thing. It’s sad but this is a bit nuts. Not so much that the answer isn’t out yet as much as not at least having some date to expect an answer on. Especially at this time of year when schools know we need to choose.

Still no PIN. Doin me a heckin frustrate.

CAS no pin. No luck this week it seems

@samantha42 I’m with you. I just checked, same result, and this is driving me crazy.

Does anyone have any idea how asking for an expedited review would affect admission chances?

@CorTransCHE I think it’s a negative for the applicant because, from what I’ve read, the office/officers see the applicant as someone who is impatient. I don’t work in admissions so I can’t verify this. However, if you have a deadline at another “comparable” school, and you have a physical letter that you can send to the office, then I would say it helps you because you are telling the school that you want to commit to them but have other offers from great places.

CoE no pin. I still have another final next week goddamnit
