Does it mean anything to have to wait this long? I was wondering if it meant our applications aren’t clear acceptances/rejections (they accepted/rejected the easier ones already)…
I applied to CAS for PMA and I haven’t received a pin yet but my application was sent for review like a month ago. Any idea when the rest of us will get our decisions? I don’t think I’ll get in so I’m making my next year plans at my current university but I would just like to get the rejection over with so I have closure and can actually move forward.
Accepted for CAS economics coming from a state school top 50 was waitlisted from Cornell last year rising sophomore now
Stats
GPA: 4.00, midterm terms report all A except one A-, 4.00 in high school with 10 AP
Tests: 33 ACT, national AP scholar, 760 sat 2 math, 690 us history (don’t know if these are looked at again for transfer)
Extra curricular: investment banking simulation, very selective consulting organization, business fraternity, few other smaller clubs, HS two sports, business organization with national awards, math tutor and other math clubs, work with non profit group that is very close to me
Essays: common app focused on how I couldn’t study what I wanted, state school environment wasn’t for me, and wanted to meet people from all over country not just my state
Recs: Honestly didn’t know professors very well but got A+ in both class and participated a lot. One was from a general education class and other from an upper level econ class. Both professors understood the complications with studying what I wanted at my school
How soon did you guys get your netid after paying the deposit?
