^^Doesn’t seem like there are that many ILR applicants compared to other years, maybe that’s a good thing :-?
@Mastodon97 with your next update you can include me for Arts & Sciences. Seems like the most competitive school, seen the amount of interest.
Just adding myself to AEM. Are there really only four of us? Lol, there must be another thread somewhere.

Do you guys think is too late to apply?
@NASA2014 Unfortunately the deadline was March 15th for all Cornell schools
@Mastodon97 Oh man, well thank you anyways! Good luck to all of you!
Anyone applying for chemistry?
My transcripts got lost in the mail when I sent it around Jan so I had to resend it in Feb. It got arrived there March 1 but up to now it still hasn’t been checked off on the portal. Is that nomal? I’m applying to CAS btw as a Biochemistry major
If I applied I would have applied for their meteorology major. Good luck to all of you! @maeee09 Your best bet is to call and ask.
Sadly, they aren’t taking any calls or emails about items received due to the large amount of materials they’re receiving due to the deadline. But I have the USPS tracking that said it arrived. I just hope it’s delayed update on the portal @NASA2014 you should apply for next sem!
@maeee09 No. I’m already transferring for fall 2017. If I get into Penn State, then that’s the place I will finish my degree.
@NASA2014 alright best of luck! Hope you get in
After checking last year’s thread, I really don’t know what are my chances. There are so many people with 4.0 GPAs who got rejected by ILR. I guess they can really tell who is really interested in ILR. I somehow feel I will get rejected. :((
At least I already attend a good school. If I get rejected, nothing will change.
@ILR2020 Yup, it’s all about fit. I’ve been going over all the past transfer threads. ILR can really tell if you are just using it as a backdoor to get into Cornell. But the acceptance rate is still pretty high for an ivy league school (around 45%), I’d say If you put thought into your essays and finished the pre-reqs and did well in them than you (or anybody else) have a great shot.
@ILRie18 4.0 from UIUC
@Mastodon97 Yeah, they focus a lot on fit. Last year, there are so many people who got rejected by ILR but ended up getting acceptances from Vandy, WashU, Emory, and UVA. So, I guess GPA does not matter anymore when a person has 3.6 or above.
@ILR2020 Have you checked out the 2015 Cornell Transfer Thread ?, its interesting because it seems like there were many rejections from 2016 in ILR but almost everybody in 2015 was accepted.
Check it out: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/cornell-university/1706025-cornell-2015-fall-transfer-thread-p93.html
@Mastodon97 no.
@Mastodon97 Overall, ILR only accepts 40% of people on CC.
