@ballislife98 How did you submit the Common App if you didn’t pay the fee? I thought you had to pay it first for them to even send it.
No. You can submit the Common App with a waiver, but it took me some time to get them to accept it and open my status online.
@ILR2020 saaaame. I submitted it in the same priority envelope as my college transcript but only the college transcript got checked off on the portal soo idk what happened to my high school one unless it’s just not processed yet
I think that the HS transcript thing is a common issue. Everything of mine is checked off except my HS transcript too, and it’s the first thing I sent. Maybe it’s one of the last things they’re processing.
@Mastodon97 yup, applied for a waiver but id rather have the timing be in my favor rn
@maeee09 where you able to see a checklist before your waiver/fee went through?
@ everyone WHERE IS THIS CHECKLIST LOL
Applying to ILR.
My high school is also not checked off.
I’m still waiting on high school (sent by mail), college report (sent by mail) and college transcript (sent through parchment) to be checked off. Everything I’ve mailed has arrived (signed off by the same C Holden guy even though I used two different delivery services) and although I have no clue how parchment works, I received an email saying my transcripts have been delivered.
Did anyone in previous years get rejected because not all of their materials were processed in time?
If you didn’t pay or they didn’t accept a waiver, you won’t see a checklist. For a waiver, have your school advisor get in touch with them. She called and wrote a letter. That’s what I had to do.
Yeah my high school transcript isn’t showing up either even though I sent it in January (mail). Starting to doubt whether or not it was the right address.
I guess I have the same question as @ILRTransfer3, can this be held against us? I sent them an email about it and asked if I should resend but no reply
My high school transcript is checked off!!!
@ILR2020 When did you send it in?
@InfoSci My high school sent it in March 2nd
Weird: my midterm report arrived at other universities I’m applying to, but it isn’t checked off at Cornell yet. However, it did say the message now that the application has been sent for review, even though I didn’t get a confirmation e-mail yet. I guess I have to wait.
Every other university I’ve applied to has all of my materials… I sent my high school transcript, midterm report, and college report to Cornell all at the same time on February 20th. getting a little worried that they still aren’t showing up.
@ILR2020 did you send it by mail or through some other method?
I sent it to application processing center, not admission office
I have everything checked except transcript which I sent in March 2nd… Also midterm report but I just send that one in because I got my final midterm grade yesterday. CALS Applicant by the way
Question about financial aid. Is there a way to just apply for the FAFSA and not apply for aid through the school? I originally marked on the common app that I planned to apply for need-based aid but ended up not submitting the materials.
Anyone else in this bucket? I don’t want them consider my application incomplete so I’m stressing out a little bit. If anyone can offer someinsight I’d greatly appreciate it!
@ILR2020 the 349 pine tree road address right
@ILRTransfer3 yes
